Had a flat on the right rear of my Ford 3000 right after I bought it. After the tire was removed we discovered the reason for the flat wass rust from the rim tearing holes in the tube. Bought a new tube, cleaned up the inside of the rim with a wire brush in an angle grinder and ground off some of the real rough spots with another angle grinder. Sprayed the rim with some rust stop I bought at the local auto parts store and after it cured put a good coat of Rustolium over the rust stop. Rim still had pits but everything was smooth. Haven"t had any more problems..
