Long backhoe help !

I have a super2 that sat for about 6 months
when started it would run a little ways and shut off. we changed the filter cleaned the tank and strainer in the transfer pump.it will run now only at a fast idle, takes the throtle good, and will run up fine in neutral. when you put it in gear and engage the forward /reverse it jumps badly and will stall if you are not careful.
anybody had any experence with these?
any body with a W.A.G.(wild a__ guess)
