Take a good look at the pipes on the inside. make sure they are not pitted/corroded. I doubt that a 10HP pump will put out 500GPM at the 40 + psi most likely required at the nozzles. More than likely it'll put out around 180 gpm at 150 foot of total head at about 70 % efficiency (HPmotor= Q~gpm x specific gravity X Total head ~ft/(3960 x efficiency). If you had a 500 gpm /10 hp pump it would only deliver around 55 ft of head or about 27 psi. That's about enough pressure to pump it out of a 55 ft well. Find out what pressure and flow are required by the nozzles. Then figure out the pump capacity and pressure required and size the pump on that basis. Can't help you with prices. There are too many variables. I use a wheel line and hand lines and a couple of 10 HP centifugal pumps that pump from a large sump under the pump house on my ground.

As simple as a box plow appears, it can be rather challenging to make work correctly. In our sandy soils of Florida, traction is king. You can never have wide enough tires or heavy enough weights to get all the traction you want … unless you own a monster tractor. U
