I have a jig than is factory made to make cut offs. I kind of was the sly fox at a auction where no one had any idea what it was. You are welcome to use it if you are anywhere near NE IA. The old timers always said when you weld them, you weld all the spokes but the last one, then smoke a cigar before welding the last one to avoid cracking the welds. Many cut offs are crude at best because thy did not use these jigs. Dave NE IA
