No.. it wouldn't fit unless you were a machinist .. that is.. the massive amount of re-fitting it would require to adapt a 3spd 9n tranny to that tractor may cost more thant he tractor... remember... the 3spt tranny also has the pedistal to the steering column, and dash supports..

N have the rounded hoods and flat head engines.. NAA have the torpedo metal and an OHV engines.

Naa sn will be on the angled boss aft of the starter.. or if it is an early 53, on the left front corner of the engine, near the manifold.

9-2-8 N will ahv ethe number on a 1x4 flat boss just below the head, left side of engine, aft of the oil filter canister..

Take a rag or toothbrush... that flat top tranny will have 1-4 and R imprinted into it. ( 9N tranny is dome topped.. not flat like an 8n / naa.. )
