Sweetwater Tex just had a rattlesnake roundup and 6 teams came in with 13,345 lbs of Western Diamond Backs. The largest Rattler came in at 6`8" caught by Eric Thomas. 10,212 lbs was caught in 2005 and there has been 284,152 lbs caught in the 48 years the roundup has been held. They started having the roundups because the ranchers were having to many injuries to their livestock.
