I had the same pic way back last year too and it said that diamondback was by Fritch TX just out N of Amarillo along the Canadian river and Lake Meredith area. Out in the middle of the caprock we have mostly smaller prairie rattlers but on edge of caprock and draws or dry river beds we get the big ones. Guys in SW NM killed a 12 footer the other year with a live jack rabbit in it and had skin hanging on wall at wool exchange.
