I'm sorry that this isn't quit tractor related, but I figured that maybe someone could help me. We have a 1976 Ford F-700 for a feedtruck at our ranch. Recently, our starter really went downhill. We have always had some trouble with it and it's past rebuilding, so, we are getting a new one. However, we need to find the motor size since the the starter number is unreadable. We really can't find it anywhere on it. I do know that is is a larger V-8, and I am fairly sure it's a factory motor. Do any of you guys have one of these trucks? The intake number is B(or 8)5TE-8425-TA. If this helps at all. The block number looks like a mirror reflection of 501(10). ANY HELP IS SO MUCH GREATLY APPRICIATED!!!!!
