We haul 1800 pounds of Hay on a gooseneck trailer every summer for the past 15 years. It is a 91 Chevy 2500 gas and dosent have duel tires. It has a 350 in it. Of course thats not at highway speen we maby go 15 to 25 down gravel roads mostly. I dont know about the highway. I would think it would be fine though. (gooseneck only though and atleast electric trailer brakes.)
