Had a similiar experience with a MM ZAN LP. Got to the point where it didn't crank evenly. Backed the valve adjustment off to spec and started up and ran like a champ. One other idea. If memory serves me that tractor should be using a Century setup. Is your primer solinoid working? At least I was thinking Deere finally went back to that setup. HTH jt
