That is unique, spent a lot of time in and or around trucks while trying to earn a degree and I can't I've seen anything like that, must be indigenous to the area for special use. That last photo explains it well, that body must have cost quite a bit when new. And I thought the lever on the back of mine was cool, you can dump with the wheels chocked, while you stand there, I can dump in our barn and watch out for the trusses above. Side dump, that would be handy for sawdust at my place.

I think I'm going to get some oil based paint, have to cross the state line to get it in gallon cans now, NY only allows it in Qts. I will prepare the surface, prime then paint, even the bed, something with a high gloss to make it slippery, should be enough to get me over the hump as the material I am going to haul with it hangs up a little, I'm not sure if I could re-mount the hoist cylinders a little further up, but it was designed for grain anyways.
