I am involved in the manufacture of aircraft parts and have had some experience with companies that reverse-engineer high spares rate parts. There is proably someone out there that is making these for the application that you are seeking but you must ensure that you get parts that are certified to FAA standards. The reason is simple, you could die from sub-standard and/or incorrect parts. I would look for an FAA certified rebuilder and get them give you direction. I know of a company in Texas that reverse-engineers parts for Lycoming turbines and I won"t get in a helicopter without asking the operator where they get hot-section replacement parts from. All this assumes that you are a certified A&P mechanic or you are working with one in the first place. A friend of mine lost his father that had an air charter service some years back. He started doing very simple things like plug changes and then became a little more bold and got deeper involved with repairs and worked on one the engines on his Cessna 310 that was exhibiting sporadic cutting out. He and a load of passengers were killed when he took off and lost that engine and stalled just past the fence. They crashed in the back yard of a homeowner nearby where the homeowner saw them struggling to get the doors open while they burned to death.

Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
