If he only uses 1qt in 2000 mi. he's doing good ! I think the bulletin from GM says it allows 1 qt in 1000 miles. Some are bad at using oil some aren't alot of them leak really bad too. The techs really hate to work on those for anything major like that.

Here at work we sell Buick and Cadillac and the Buicks hold up far better.
