I lived near West Plains for nearly 3 years, and I really liked it. prices are not too bad if you get a ways out of town. Some of the areas are kind of rough though, so i suggest you rent for a while and get to konw people. Jobs in that area are pretty hard to come by if you are wanting to work some, and many of the small business people tend to treat their employees pretty bad.
