Spra-Coupe 220 Choke Problem

After getting great advice from the folks here on the Super M alternator problem, my farmer friend has a Spra-Coup that as close a we figured the electric choke is not working. He is thinking it is some kind of VW engine and has a Solex carb on it. I searched the internet with no luck seeing if you could just buy that part. Anyone have any ideas on where we could find such a part? Randy
