I have a 2255 with a cab. The previous owner had glued carpet to the floor, under the seat and to the lower side walls. I was surprised how much that quieted the cab down. I am planning to additional quieting material to the ceiling and add an outlet to the radio for headphones. You can get a set from Gempler that will accept a radio input. Only thing you lose is listening to the engine run--best way in the world to detect a problem before it is a disaster.
