Can you lengthen the lever your cylinder is pinned to. This should give less rotation of the pipe. The farther you get from the axis of the pipe the less rotation you will get. Don"t know many degrees you need to rotate or what length of arms the pads are attached to but if the lever you attach cylinder to is the same length as the four levers your pads are mounted to you should get the same 4 inches as you cylinder. hth WaltMo
