Yea i welded one once tryen to be cheap and it welded up nice i was happy TILL I STARTED THE ENGINE hear a beebee of weld had fallen down the inside down the exhaust port down the open exhaust valve down on top of the piston and when the engine fired it beat the hello out of the head and cracked the piston so the price of one new sleeve and piston one used head a valve job and my labor did not equal the price of the new manifold and now i do not care what the cost of the new manifold is in my book it is cheaper to by the new then fix and engine.
