The safest way to use email is thru hotmail, gmail, yahoo mail, any of the email hosts that you can read your email in your web browser.

Almost all email viruses are targetted at email clients like Outlook and the like.

I also like the free web based email so you don't have to change your email address if you go from one internet service provider to another...if anyone wants a gmail invite, let me know, I have 100 of them to use up, then gmail will send more. gmail is Google's free email service.
