SkyTrak weight??

I recently bought this 1969 West Brick Buggy SkyTrak forklift on Ebay. I was planning on picking it up this week and the owner said it weighed about 8000 lbs. I have a 9-ton trailer but I've just got a diesel pickup to tow it home with. It�s about a 250-mile haul and 4 tons would be doable. Now I just received an email that it weighs 7 ton!! That�s out of my league. Anybody know for sure the approximate weight of one of these critters?
