I recently bought this 1969 West Brick Buggy SkyTrak forklift on Ebay. I was planning on picking it up this week and the owner said it weighed about 8000 lbs. I have a 9-ton trailer but I've just got a diesel pickup to tow it home with. It’s about a 250-mile haul and 4 tons would be doable. Now I just received an email that it weighs 7 ton!! That’s out of my league. Anybody know for sure the approximate weight of one of these critters?
Thanks
Tim

I have hauled a Sky Trak 6036 before and it weighed 19000# plus. The machine you have pictured looks to be about the same size.

I would agree 7 plus tons. My work fork lift is 8000 light weight and it's not near the machine your dealing with, good luck

7 ton sounds very close. You better send a semi tractor and low bed for it.

I would agree more with 7 ton than 8000 lbs and sure wouldn't want to go very far with it behind a pickup. I have newer 4x4 Lulls and they weight around 24000 lbs.
