take the negitive battery cable off when you park it for a few days and hook it back up when your ready to use the tractor if the battery is low or dead you will have to replace the battery becuase it has a dead cell and is shorting out inside.the battery has lead plates inside that flake ,the flakes drop down in the bottom and short the pos. plate to the neg. plate and this can drain the batt.hope this helps
