we had a 3020 when i was a kid - no loader - ground feed with it - real muddy once - it had differential lock - it made it through some remarkable stuff - pulling a grinder full of pig feed..... on the other hand - put 500 pounds of snow manure hay - anything in the loader and try to back up a hill - MFWD is GREAT......I wouold hate to be without it..... also did u notice how all field tractors that work in row crops anymore seem to be MFWD? I read somewhere that that style of tread doesn't seem to kill as much crop when u drive over it as does an implement tire....I even read where they started looking at same thing in alfalfa fields - the crops don't like the smooth tires - I can't explain or validate it
