If a better engine is made by a larger intake and exhaust pipe then the manufacturer would have done it in the first place.
There is a great risk that things will be worse then when stock. Things are done to sync with other parts. Change one and could disturb the whole system.
Now I know that in all the Hot Rot mags that are out there they claim 10,20 30% increase in power if putting on special parts.
I believe that more top end power can be had but at what cost. Top end power usually trades off low end torque, what diesels are made to do.
Just my opinion.
By the way, what engine and year is it?
