I had one of those engines. Drove it 218,000 trouble free miles in a Cutlass. People tried to drive that diesel as a city driver.... didn't work so well there. Most diesels arent good start stop engines. I traded the car off when I found a note on the seat saying that a particular dealer was interested in low milage diesels like this one.... It only showed 18,000 on the odometer. Drive em like they are meant to drive and none of the big three put out bad engines. Found a couple of guys on these forums that if I were to argue with them I wouldn't do so without a thourough background check of my statements. Other wise one just looks the fool. Both live in NE. Mr. Raymond is the other.
