Well in 1954 and 1955 Kaiser needed more power to keep up with the V8s others were using so they supercharged instead of spending money they did not have to develope a V8. As far as having 199 cu. in. I don"t know, the N/A had the 226 cu.in. I can"t think of any other car mfg. supercharging the Continental 6. Kaiser, Frazer might be able to help you. Wait, In 1937-41 Graham had a supercharged 6 with 199 cu in. Super charger was a 2 flat amuminum plates bolted together and shaft driven. Maybe that is what you got. What did the Cord use for an engine? Can"t remember. Good luck!
