Sammy, and All, ya'll up North, Not in the Draught area are seeing regular prices. Here in Texas.... #1 horse quality Coastal hay in rolls + - $100/roll. That is if any body is sellin. Cleburne,TX 2weeks ago some coastal sold for 120/bale. Most hay that was going to be sold has allready been sold. There was NO fall crop made, period. Most sm sq bales are about $10 ea depending on supplies and availability. Trucking over 300 miles is prohibitive duto fuel cost, and amt carried on aload. Not a pretty pic down here. Later, John A.

Seeing an Old Friend - by Joe Evans. Dad had a concrete contracting business starting in 1960. One of his first pieces of equipment was a Ferguson TO-35 with a Davis loader. Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told. Dad bought the 202 new in 1962, and I recall quite clearly going to the dealer with him to sign for it.
