take the nut completely off and clean the threads really good, put on anti-seize, if you have a 3/4 or one " impact it should go right on, if you don't have a impact, clean the threads, use antisize and have someone hit the other end with a sledge as you tighten. what disk is it? sometimes you can use a 36' pipe wrench to hold the axle
