I grew up milking 20-25 BEFORE school and AFTER school. When I graduated, I left for California, couldn't get a job so joined the Navy. SURE didn't want to go back to Iowa and milk cows again. I'm retired now and haven't milked since 1960, I think the price has gone down compared to the 60s. SURE am glad someone, some of my friends now, still do that for a living!! 1 family dairy farm left in this county and 1 commercial herd, Lake county Illinois. John
