Cleveland trench digger

Hi,
I was out in Laguna National park in San Diego County, CA, and saw an old tracked tractor/trench digger that was red and had a Cleveland nameplate on the rediator grill and a Cleveland sign on the side. I'm not a tractor afficianodo, but I am an engineer and interested in machinery. It looked old, so when I got home I tried to google Cleveland tractors. It seems that this is an old, nearly pre-WWII manufacturer. The one I saw had a big rotary scoop trenching digger on the front. Is this really a 60+ year old machine, or were there newer versions?
