Thanks guys, my concern is the device manufacturer specifications states a 2.01 USB port is required. I understand that it should work on a 1.0 USB port but not sure since they require it. I have emailed the manufacturer and inquired about this but have'nt received a reply yet. One reason I stated Windows Me is the worst ever is because I have had two 80 gig hard drives to crash on this computer, does not have USBSTOR.SYS, will not support my HP scanner with ADF, and other issues over the past 4 years. The only reason I don't upgrade is because most of my software would require upgrading also and that ain't an option right now. I guess I will wait and see what the manufacturer (Maxtor) says. Thanks, Rex
