I currently drive a "05 F-250 4x4 Diesel. It is by far the worst truck I have ever drove in the mud. The extra weight makes it harder to handle in the mud and if you ever start to spin your wheels you are in trouble. The front end will bury itself in a hurry. I have had this one stuck twice since I owned it. The Dodge 1 ton diesel I used to drive handled much better in muddy conditions and had more power.
