Trailer Questions

Been thinking about getting a cheap trailer to haul my garden tractors around for a awhile now. Today I found a two place snowmobile trailer for sale in the paper. Says it has good lights and tires But it needs to be re-decked. I don't think that redoing the wood on it would be beyond me. They want $50 for it as is. Would this be good for hauling two older cub cadet garden tractors? I hope to have room for both of them and install a toolbox on the front of the trailer. My biggest concern is the open sides. Any of you guys have experiance with somthin' like this or foresee any problems? Thanks for your help. Mike.
