Since you don't have a ton of miles on the engine, and the damage was not from overheating, or foreign objects banging around in the engine, there's certainly no reason you HAVE to pull both heads, if you do not want to. Save the spare head gasket, and if you have problems again with either head, you'll just need to buy an intake set to do that job.
