Early 310 backhoes were three-cylinder and used the same engine as 350 crawlers as well as other stuff like ag. tracgtors - 1530, 2040, 2330, industrial wheel tractors - 301A, 302, crawlers - 350C, 350D,350B.
Later machines, e.g. the 310B had four cylinder engines that were shared with ag. tractors 2030, 2270, 2280, 2320, 2440, 2530, 3300, industrial wheel tractors 401B, 401C, 401D, 410, 410B,, and crawlers 450C, 450C, 450D, - also forklifts and log-skidder e.g. 480B, 480C, 440B, 540B.
