They are the ducks guts. Once you get used to it, backing on to the impliment is no problem; aim the top hook at the top pin and make sure you're square to the impliment and you're in business. I've never had a problem with the extra 4 inches, but I have big stuff and run front weights anyway. Still have a few implimemts that won't take quick hitch, but I'll modify them eventually. If I need to remove it, I hitch it to an impliment, then disconnect the whole thing from the tractor.
