Shep, Hi, Been a while since I have visited with you. Anyway ........ My first Rodeo was with a JD Quickhitch was in the mid 70s on a 76 JD 4630 on 6 row equipment. There is NO heave ho on this size stuff to get it lined up, Either you get straight the first time or you don't get it at all without a Quickhich. With.... just catch the top link pin with the hook on the Quickhitch.....lift up slightly and slowly....and let gravity do the rest. When the bottom pins are resting in the cradles....slap the lock levers over and off you go. These should be standard equipment an ALL tractors!!! The only piece of 6 row that wasn't on a quickhitch set up was our IH Cyclo 400 planter. It was only used once / yr so we left it alone. I prefer the Cat III set up. Not the Cat II or Cat III Narrow. OBTW I am running a JD hitch on my 966. Smaller tractors well get along fine with a Cat II or Cat I unit. This little thing will take all the work out of hooking up to stuff. The only work will be the PTO shaft. Don't forget that this unit will move the load back about 7 ins. so you may need to add one more wt up front to counter the distance the load is moved rearward. This will be more noticeable on smaller tractors Hope this help. Later, John A.

Dad replaced the TO-35 with a MF 202 Workbull, essentially an industrialized Ferguson 35 I am told. Dad bought the 202 new in 1962, and I recall quite clearly going to the dealer with him to sign for it.
