I would just swing by the local tire shop and ask if they will change tires on split rims. They probably won't.... but if they can look at the truck, they could surely give you an answer on whether or not you could install a modern steel bud. It sounds like you have hub pilot type wheels as opposed to spoke wheels, so I don't know if you could get a wheel to fit or not. If you have the spoke type wheels, then a standard 11R22.5 should directly replace a 10.00-20. If the tire shop won't touch them, they may know of a backyard type operation that would deal with them. As I understand these wheels, the most dangerous part is inflating them, and ensuring that the ring seats properly. Once they're on, they're not really any more dangerous than any other wheel. There are probably guys out there that will work on them....... but I am not among them. HTH. Rod
