I have driven commercial trucks for 20+ years. I very seldom saw You Haul type truck pull in to the scales, if they did they were waved thru. Last year I drove 2 rental trucks from CA to GA. I never pulled on to scales on either trip. I had a brand new IH truck and got about 8 MPG.( diesel) Truck was loaded full with a trailer on behind. Have Fun Boyd
