I worked 42 yrs in steam power electrical generating stations and am well aware of the dangers of hooking a generator to a house system without an approved transfer switch. When a power company turns the power on to a dead line that has a nonprotected generator, it destroys the generator unless it is in sync with the main power grid. (it wont be in syc without the proper controls) As I said, my cords come into the house FROM the OUTSIDE and all things needed are plugged into them. That is pretty clear to me?
