We had a cold wet spring, it abruptly turned hot and dry, and finished off with a nice long fall. Peas and green beans were mostly a crop failure. Eggplants and peppers only had a first flush of fruit. Tomatoes and winter squash did all right. The saving grace was the long, warm fall. After all that, it turned out that we had a good year.
