First thing, I feel that you are not personally trying hard enough. From the serial number list on this forum (accessible by you), your tractor seems to be a 1963. So most likely, it has a 12 volt generator. Look at the number on your generator. If the number is 1 100 401 or 319 622 R91, it is 12 volts. In 42 years, who knows what might have been changed on your tractor? If your generator has different number, post it here.
