This reminds me of the difficulty tractor dealers had many years ago getting farmers to switch from steel to rubber tires. Or the concept of going to "no-till" from the "perfect" or "tried and true" system they had been using for years. I see that two or three of the "against" group seem to have used some of the newer forum software at other sites. I've yet to see anyone make a real good case against this faster and more full featured system. Seems to be mostly just a "stuck in a rut" attitude. Those of you who are truly members, posters and users of the newer stuff at other sites and have spoken against...I respect your opinion. Have all of you who are against, users of newer sites ? Please share some quality analysis of the old vs the new if you have truly tried it out thoroughly. I would like to hear from our host on this subject. Kim,(I hope that is the correct name) I do like this site you have very much, but I would like to hear your opinion on this subject. If you could share some comparisons of the features available on the new vs. the old, perhaps we could have some better insight on the subject. Or if you are flat out against a change... let us know. I suspect, like the steel vs. rubber thing, that most users would actually appreciate the added benefits of the upgrade once they got used to it. Are we having fun yet ? :)

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
