I am afraid I have to join the group that likes it as is. I prefer the chronological postings. Sometimes it just makes more sense when a problem is ongoing. There is also the issue of the popularity of the person posting. Nothing gross or inappropriate, but still a lot of attention. She recently posted some pictures of old tools and received 49 responses before I gave up counting. With your system, would not the posts by this person tend to dominate the top of the forum? Make it more like a chat room from my perspective. Not to pick on the ladies, so what about our friend from Nebraska? He would need a forum all his own. How would a newer software handle that sort of thing?
