Tim, I smoked for 33 years a good part of that 2 packs a day. I quit Jan 10, 1990, I had the worst cold I had ever had in my life. I was dairy farming at the time 3 days into the cold I got up got out a new pack, looked at it for a while then put it in my pocket unopened. Late in the morning I took it out to open it, and was standing next to a guy who lit one I got a whiff and put it back in my pocket. I carried the pack 3 days unopened. The big secret to quiting is you have to want to quit. Almost 16 years later I don"t even think about it.
