SKS hunting bullets? Are you using .308 bullets or .310 bullets? Couple articles somewhere about using 130 grain .311+ originally for 303 british and 7.65 Mauser in Chinese type 56 SKS. 100 yard 6 inch pattern for Federal(?) ammo recommended for Ruger was reduced to about 3-4 inches. Midway ammo was noted as .310 bullet and had about 25% smaller patterns. Some russian soft point around, clerk in store said they tested it with Yugo 59/66 and got a bit smaller pattern than Norinco. Noted that some Russian hard ball M43 got about 10 inch pattern 100 yards. Cheap practice stuff though.
