On my way home from work, i had to drop something off before the evenings festivities started, so, i went in the man door on the lower level. I got about 20 feet inside, and got a whiff of ammonia gas! Now, in the back of the basement, we had a gas refrigerator, can't remember the name now, and it had sprung a leak! Nobody could get near it, and folks had to go inside the upstairs, which was starting to smell, too! I called the chief, and he had 3 men suit up in air masks, and one backed his pickup inside back to that fridge! They tilted it up, and drove out with it, and dumped it far away from the bldg! Luckily nobody was hurt by it. Then they ran the big exhaust fan for an hour and that cleaned up the basement. RJ
