I think it would be a lot cheaper to restore/modify the real thing than to make a retro tractor. I sometimes think of putting D17 sheet metal on a 175 Allis. I think you could put H sheet metal on a 504 IHC. You see all kinds of half-scale tractors built from bits and pieces. A 530 JD is very nice, but not available in diesel. It would be pretty tough to engineer a diesel conversion for it. Perhaps there's a Lanz diesel tractor that could have the 530 sheet metal pasted on it.
