used to burn tires, till one of the neighbors turned us in. the fire dept came out (i am on the fire department though not very active with my age (somones got to direct traffic until the cops get out of the doughnut shop) 500 dollar fine, also had some OLD OLD OLD oil barrels 2 of them on the fire that were old but another 500 dollar fine. the tire recyclers the free day come bring them are rip offs in illinois. i brought in all my old tires and sadly was quite a few from over the years probably 200. well the guy at the recycler asked name adress id etc. and from then oon a mr epa health department man comes out and checks to make sure we dont have too many tires around"becuase of a west nile threat"
