Once you set the thought in motion you start mentioning how much you (might) be able to make by doing side work with both of yours new asset. Then along the way start mentioning how expensive you have seen this type of excavator selling for and it would be a shame to miss this terrific buy. (the ladies love a bargain). You may want to play the game but the truth is, that if you go at it right you can sell the thing for what (or nearly) you paid for it and the work done just cost you your time, maintenance and fuel. They understand alright but their being thrifty is another reason we love em. We just have to learn to explain things better.
